Installation:
If the waterproofing system covered is compatible with Rubbertech Balconeze Tile, lay the slabs directly over the waterproofing. If this is not the case, include a separating layer between them, e.g. a PE or PP geotextile with a minimum area weight of 300 g/m.
The slabs can be secured in place by interconnecting with the connector pins supplied.
Please Note:
Unsecured Balconeze Tiles may be subject to uplifting by strong winds e.g. in the event that one or more corners or sides are exposed, providing an attack surface for the wind. The slabs can be cemented to the waterproofing membrane by applying evenly spaced dabs of a suitable adhesive cement. Be certain to maintain a minimum separation of 1 cm between neighbouring slabs.
