We produce rubber flooring and matting for a variety of uses. From agricultural buildings and Lorry Linings to acoustic matting and Roof Balcony protective tiling.
Soft (under screed)
Rubbertech Soft is a Polyurethane bound mixture of selected rubber fibres, and is ideal for use under Concrete Screeds as a Resilient Layer.
- The product has a high resistance to compressive loads and remains outstanding elastic
- Outstanding Impact Sound deadening in Residential and Commercial floors
- EASY Installation
- Loose Lay System which does not slip during installation
- Meets and exceeds tough Acoustic Building requirements
- Document E Compliant
- Excellent thermal conductivity ideal for use with underfloor heating systems
- Outstanding compressive strength and load bearing performance
- High resilience does not compress and reduce sound absorption
- Environmentally friendly - Fully recycled
Installation instructions
Substrate
The substrate needs to be swept clean
Preparation
Prior to the installation of the flooring material, install a peripheral strip over all structural component which extend upwards or laterally such as walls, pipes etc. This is required to avoid formation of sound conduction channels and must extend upwards beyond the floor surface.
Installation
The Acoustic resilient layer should be cut to the area that is to be covered.
Each piece should be positioned adjacent to the adjoining piece without overlap. Seal joints with adhesive tape to avoid screed penetration and resultant sound conduction.
Cover underlay with a PE membrane which should also extend over the peripheral insulation.
Install screed as per manufacturer's instructions
