Transport Anti-Slip Solutions
Rubbertech Protect and Rubbertech Protect Plus anti-slip mats are specially designed for low cost, efficient protection of products transported e.g. by lorry or by rail.
The transported goods are held in place on the transport vehicle by the friction from the anti-slip mats and further secured by lashing straps. The high friction coefficient of the anti-slip mats provides an outstanding grip on even the smoothest surfaces, practically eliminating shifting or slipping during transport.
Unforeseen situations – such as abrupt change of direction, swerving to avoid hazards, sudden braking, collisions, etc can cause very high inertial and centrifugal forces. With coefficients of sliding friction ranging up to 1.05, Rubbertech Protect is our premium anti-slip mat for securing transported loads under such conditions. Its extremely high friction provides additional safety in hazardous situations.
The increased friction provided by Rubbertech anti-slip mats also minimises the required tensioning in the lashing straps. This is a particular benefit when transporting panels, pipes or other products which can compress or deform under loading.
